Sponsoring A Candidate

A Candidate is someone who is attending Tres Dias for the first time. A Pescador is someone who has been through, as a Candidate on a Tres Dias weekend & completed the Essentials training. If you are not a Pescador, you cannot sponsor a Candidate.

Sponsoring a Candidate for a Tres Dias weekend is more than just sending someone on a vacation or a Christian retreat. It requires a lot of work and time on your part as the sponsor. We always ask that you be in prayer on who God wants to use you to send through. Once God has shown you who should go through, contact one of our team members and they will give you more details on what you should do as a sponsor. Also, anyone who has not been through a Tres Dias weekend or anything like Tres Dias, cannot sponsor a Candidate.

Also know that no more than six candidates, that are the same sex & also attend the same church, will be allowed on the weekend. For example, if 7 men from the same church want to be a candidate on this upcoming weekend, at least one will need to be put on the waiting list for the following Tres Dias.

Serving A Weekend

If you have not been through Tres Dias or A Walk to Emmaus, you cannot serve on a TVTD weekend.

If you would like to serve a weekend, all you need to do, is contact the Rector (If you're a man, contact the Men's Rector. If you're a woman, contact the Women's Rector). The Rector's contact information is at the bottom of the page or Click Here.

Serving a weekend, is different than sponsoring a Candidate. You don't have to serve and sponsor a Candidate and you don't have to sponsor a Candidate to serve a weekend. But you do have to attend meetings prior to the weekend. Click Here for the weekend dates, times, & locations.

Everyone serving on the weekend will be put into a position that will help the Rector and Head positions operate the weekend as smoothly as possible. So putting team members in positions is a process. After you have contacted the Rector, don't panic if you haven't been given a position. I promise, the Lord is the overall leader of this weekend and you will not be forgotten.

Every weekend is exciting and different from the previous weekend. Don't expect to see everything you did when you went through. It will differ and look like it's own weekend. I like to say, God tailors every weekend according to who the rector is. But he picks the candidates according to how the weekend will be. No matter what weekend it is, it's always the best weekend you've ever had. Why? because every weekend you become closer to God, and the closer you are to Him, the better you become.
